Biscuits and Gravy

 Butter Drop Biscuits 

2 Cups of Flour

1 tbs Sugar

1 tsp salt

6 tbs butter

3/4 + 1 TBS milk 

Preheat over to 425. 

Add flour, sugar, salt to a food processor, pulse a few times to combine. Cut butter into 6 tbs and add to a food processor. Transfer "mealy" mixture to mixing bowl. Add milk and Stir to combine. Do not overmix.  Drop biscuits to the parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 18- 20 mins. 

Ingredients

  •  Biscuits
  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 2 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon(s)s all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups half and half or 2% Milk and Heavy Cream.. whatever milk you have really 
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried crushed rosemary
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • freshly ground black pepper , to taste

Instructions

  • Brown sausage in a large saucepan. Use a paper towel to blot out most of the grease from the pan.
  • Add flour, butter, and half & half. Cook on medium-low, stirring often, for several minutes until thickened. 
  • Add rosemary, red pepper flakes and black pepper.
  • Serve over warm biscuits.
