Fresh Potato Hash Browns

Fresh Potato Hash Browns

4 potatoes, peeled if desired
1 tsp oil
Salt and pepper
2 Tbs water

Crate raw potatoes with a larger grader. Heat oil in a frying pan until quite hot. Add potato shreds. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Turn heat to low and cover pan. Do not stir. Cook 5-8 mins. Using a pancake turner, turn the whole pile of potatoes at once. Add water, season again, and replace lid. Continue cooking another 5-8 mins. Potatoes should be crunchy and golden on the outside
