Braided Egg Bread

Braided Egg Bread (This is THE BEST bread I have ever tasted!!)

Makes 4 loaves (can be baked at the same time)

 In small bowl combine :

2 Tbs Yeast
1/2 C Warm water
Dash of sugar to activate

In a mixer (with a bread hook)
2 1/2 Cup Warm water
4 eggs
1 TBS salt (dont forget the salt)
1/2 Cup Oil
1/2 Cup honey

Add Yeast mixture to mixing bowl,  then add

3 Cups Bread flour and begin mixing on low.

Add

6-7 Cups of flour, (half white, half wheat) (1 cup at a time),

then put the lid on and mix on high for 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, oil the bottom and put the dough in, and cover; let rise until double in size.

Punch down on the countertop and knead out all bubbles. Separate into four pieces. With each piece separate into 3 pieces and roll into ropes, braid, and put into pans (greased with cooking spray).

Cover and let rise 15 minutes.
Beat egg and brush on each loaf and sprinkle sesame seeds (optional)

Bake at 350 for about 30 or 35 minutes.

 Serve warm with Honey Butter

Tip: Do not add too much flour. If you can touch the bread with a lightly floured finger and comes out clean, that is enough flour. Fresh ground wheat flour makes a HUGE difference. If you buy Whole Wheat flour that has more than likely it is already old, so store it in the freezer.
